Skeleton Found at Wat That Thong Confirmed as Ancestor, Not Crime

Workers discovered human remains beneath the principal Buddha image during Vihara renovations.

The temple contacted the family of the Vihara's founder, who initially denied the remains were ancestors but later confirmed they were.

The remains were sent to Chulalongkorn Hospital for DNA testing and forensic examination.

Police confirmed the remains were female and the burial was intentional, ruling out a murder case.
